• AquaChat — an AI assistant available on the web at aquachat.co, and on iOS and Android mobile applications;
• AQUA Models — domain-specific large language models for aquaculture, distributed via HuggingFace under the Apache 2.0 license;
• kurma.ai — our corporate website.

3. AquaChat — Privacy by Design

AquaChat is built with privacy as a core principle:

• No Account Required. AquaChat does not require account creation, sign-up, or login.
• No Data Collection. We do not collect, store, or log any conversations, queries, voice inputs, or AI-generated responses.
• No Tracking. We do not track your usage, behavior, or interactions within AquaChat.
• No Ads. AquaChat contains no advertisements and no ad-related tracking.

4. Open-Source Models and Training Data

Our AQUA models (AQUA-7B and AQUA-1B) are released under the Apache License 2.0 and are publicly available on HuggingFace. The training data for these models is sourced from publicly available scientific literature, government reports, expert-curated content, and synthetically generated data. No personal user data is included in our published models or datasets.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to any third parties. The only exception is where disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental regulation.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data through the contact form, please contact us at privacy@kurma.ai.

7. Third-Party Services and Links
